When the enemy is in range, so are you
I like the spring and flowers and stuff but my bike is just a pouty goth at the picnic.

Same reaction here. Honda Hornet.

BICHAELING
My riding school had Honda Hornets, so that's the bike I did the majority of my pre-licence learning on. I would like to try one again with my current skill level. I think I would probably like it a lot more than I did as a total newbie.

Also lol at making a brake light harder to see

I keep seeing cars here with blacked out taillights and turn signals and it is just the worst

I've bought a bike where the PO had blacked out the stock indicators with black felt marker pens.. I saw the uneven edge and tip strokes.

First ride of the year for the Honda on a gorgeous day

:respek: Wasn't my first of the year, but first substantial one. Did around 200mi with some buds. Glorious weather.

Track season finally started, first day on the SV. So nice being on a bike with a set up suspension.

Here's me admiring the apex from a half mile away. Slowly getting better but still a slow boy.

I see that GoPro. Post your lap :colbert:

I'm going next Sunday. Will be the first time on the 600. Hopefully I don't have a massive crash. Going from a bike that gives up at 85mph to one which can do well over 150mph should be something.

Here's a couple of laps from the late morning. Don't judge my slow rear end too harshly. Got caught in a little traffic because we're only allowed to pass on the straights in novice (and rightly so.) The folks in the brown shirts were first timers.

I also tried a chin mount but turns out I need an extension arm to angle it right so you can see exactly zero of the track ahead of me. It still kinda worked to at least review my inputs.

:hellyeah: no judgement from me (but definitely wide through turn 5 :cheeky:)

I'll post myself too. This was from Laguna Seca back in October. I was hoping for a 2min lap time, but I was mostly doing 2:04 to 2:06, with my personal best of 2:01.62 :o:

Nice lap, you're boogieing. I'd love to get out to Laguna Seca someday.

Turn 5 was my nemesis all day. Thunderbolt is mostly right turns and the biggest issue I was fighting was just having the energy/stamina to move back and forth off the bike especially as the day progressed. I am wildly out of shape and still getting over some covid fatigue. My legs were complete jello the next day. Need to seriously work on some training so I'm not dragging rear end out there.
