I think Dragon mode has more heavy fighters mixed in? I could be very wrong, barely get to touch the game now.

I only noticed it when the ships I was supposed to be escorting started suffering unusual amounts of damage when only fighters were present. Playing with a fleet got me into the habit of just ignoring fighters because something else would make them go away.

Semi randomly, Brendon Chung of Blendo Games had this as #4 on his GoTY list. Congrats! I still need to get around to re-doing everything on Dragon. May hold out until I can do it in VR -- tried it at a friend's house and man is it good.

What do you have to do to complete a flagship bounty? I blew one up at the cost of my whole fleet but nothing happened or unlocked, and it says it's still available at the menu.

So far I've fragged the first 3 and the final flagship on Dragon. I'm gonna try to run through them over time. Is there any interest in someone doing a silent Let's Play of the campaign from start to finish? I have no great desire to hear myself talk, I merely just wanna show off the game and the campaign.

It's a fair bit more work, but I remember enjoying a subtitled LP of the Homeworld games in the past. Having some context as to what's going on and what the player is trying to make happen is pretty useful, even it's not voiced.

Started a new game and recorded the tutorial and Missions 1-3 so far. I did Mission 4 (Hangman Prisoner Transfer) but I'm gonna re record it and I might re record mission 3 because the ending came out bad. I was looking around in the cockpit wildly to try to get eyes on the flagship before I warped out so it probably looks janky, and I'm not anyone who has experience with video editing so I figure its easier to just redo the mission. Apparently it's much harder than I remember playing with 1 interceptor! Omniflak loving sucks!

I've completed all missions+bonus objectives+flagship kills on Harbinger with the sole exception of the final mission. I think I should figure out the subtitle thing for youtube and upload what I have before I do the final mission. I have an intro video where I do the tutorial and 22 videos. 13 of them are straight campaign missions with the other 9 being "Redux" videos where I do the mission with a full fleet and go to kill the flagship. Flagships start dying in Mission 7 (The Cleric). I kill about 4 of them before I have all the goodies unlocked, 3 of them before purifier bombs. Armor Piercing Rounds are a hell of a thing. I play with AC/Missles/Bombs Shield/Armor Piercing most of the time. Sometimes I go carapace/Armor Piercing if my fleets going to die. On the Dragon playthrough, it'll likely be carapace+armour piercing almost exclusively. This playthrough will be for all the marbles: killing flagships in each video and completing all objectives.

np, i'll try to get subtitled ones up this weekend e: actually I'm gonna have to do this run again because I apparently forgot to configure OBS properly to record locally 1080p so I'll just do a Dragon Run with the settings set up properly and I'll do another full campaign run with the subtitles up later for public consumption.
