That would be a really neat Alolan form twist.

You could also go the other direction and have Alolan Paras/Parasect be like a Rattata/Raticate with mushrooms taking over it.

Taking some liberties in pronunciation, Pallosand could be read to sound like either "Palace Sand" or"Pile o' Sand". For reference the pun in the Japanese name, Shirodesuna, could be read as "A Sand Castle" or "It's a castle, right?"

Sounds more like a reference to Palisade or "shield" cells to me.

I am almost okay with that list despite how bad and wrong it is especially in gen 6 because Diggersby is literally the worst pokemon with the worst design.
