Thank you Germ for your support! I just got done with a bunch of area terrain and can't wait to add some more to it. Missed your kickstarter and hoping you'll do another one in the future.

Ledgem posted:Aw. So close... An Iwata Neo is a good intro-level airbrush. http://www.amazon.com/NEO-Gravity-Feed-Action-Airbrush/dp/B004INERK4 A Badger Sotar is a very nice brush at a reasonable price-point: https://www.amazon.com/Badger-Air-Brush-2020-2F-Gravity-Airbrush/dp/B000BROVIO You'll also need a compressor and perhaps some fittings. All-in you can start airbrushing for around $100ish, maybe $150 depending on exactly what sort of setup you go for. The goons in the painting thread will be happy to help with more details, techniques, setup, etc.

spectralent posted:Are the ones that're cheaper than the Neo generally complete crap, then? Ehh. It's more about what you want to do with it. Pretty much any airbrush can be used to prime models. If you want tight-focused sprays, lots of control, and not to have to constantly clean? You might want to go up in quality. There's a really good video (by Badger's CEO, so it's not completely unbiased) explaining airbrush use for miniature modeling, going over all the basic features of an airbrush and why they matter. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tsW-vN0_lHw
