Stanley Zubizaretta - Cabin Main Room Almost silently in the darkness, Stanley flicks the flashlight on. It blazes a yellow-white circle of light onto the wood floor where his rifle is aimed. But not for long. Stanley hoists the gun upward, bracing it on the table, and points it right at the wendigo. His stomach shakes its way into his chest, but his finger seems to reach itself back and squeeze the trigger. It only takes a few pounds of pressure.... Firing two shots at the wendigo from a starting load of 4+1 rounds. Using JHP rounds, so damage is 5d-1 pi++. I've got the gun braced on the table, if you want to use bonuses from that. Shooting at a Guns (Rifles) skill of 13. chitoryu12 fucked around with this message at 21:57 on Nov 11, 2014 |

Nick Currier Nick stares at the wendigo for a moment, and then snaps into action as it stops in place. Bracing his Enfield on the table, he takes a quick shot, and then quickly works the bolt. If there was ever a time for a mad minute, this was it. Firing the Enfield, I'm guessing that we're close enough for no range penalty? Anyways, call it an All-out attack (Determined), so effective skill of 14. pre:ST 10 [0] DX 11 [20] IQ 11 [20] HT 11 [10] HP: 10 Will: 11 Per: 12 [5] FP: 11 Damage: 1d-2 Thrust, 1d swing Basic Speed: 5.5 Basic Move: 5 Basic Lift: 20 Luck, Common Sense, Night Vision 1 Brawling 11, First Aid 11, Guns (Rifle) 13, Stealth 12, Wrestling 10 Weapons: Lee Enfield No 4 Mk. 1 (6d+2 pi; Acc 5, Range 800/3,300; RoF 1; Shots 10+1 (5); Bulk -5; Rcl 3) 9.6/0.6 lbs, $700 Rem. 870 18” Brl (1d+1 pi or 5d pi++, Acc 3/4, Range 40/800 or 100/1200, RoF 2x9 or 2, shots 5+1(2i), ST 10t, Bulk -5, Rcl 1/5. Cabin A small hail of lead is unleashed, spinning the Wendigo around as all three rounds hit. The flurry isn't exactly tightly grouped, but it leaves the beast on it's knees after bullets shatter both of it's legs, and with one arm dangling uselessly by the skin after a .45 tears most of the flesh and bone away. It starts shrieking, almost deafeningly loud, and flailing with it's good arm trying to break through whatever is containing it. One swing gauges cleanly through the thick wooden floor. Mark keeps filming, immediately on the edge of the circle. Goddamn. It's crippled, seriously hurting, and freaking the gently caress out. Beardless, I'm copying that statblock to the OP, and requesting everyone else starts using it. It'll save a bit of paperwork, eh?

Stanley Zubizaretta - Cabin Main Room Stanley is thankful for his earplugs, but his shoulder isn't enjoying the beating it's taking. Still, he keeps on shooting. He's going to empty that goddamn gun into this thing until it stops moving and gives Thomas a chance to force feed it their concoction. Cabin Three more shots ring out, with two hitting. However, the wendigo isn't dead. It's not even unconscious. It's missing large chunks of flesh and bone, but it's still very much alive and moving. However, it's getting weaker, rapidly. It's screams are quieter(probably assisted by the clear hole through one of it's lungs), and it's flailing claws aren't cutting as deeply into the floor anymore.

Stanley Zubizaretta - Cabin Main Room This is it. One more shot. Stanley tenses, aiming carefully for the wendigo's chest. He doesn't want to miss a thing. Aiming for a second to get the accuracy bonus while bracing the gun on the table (for +1), then firing the final shot in my magazine. Aiming for the vitals at -3, so the total modifier should be a +1 to hit for an effective skill of 14. pre:ST 10 [0] DX 11 [20] IQ 10 [0] HT 12 [20] HP 10 [0] Will 10 [0] Per 10 [0] FP 12 [0] Thrust: 1d-2 Swing: 1d Basic Speed: 5.75 Basic Move: 5 Basic Move (Water): 1 Dodge: 8 Basic Lift: 20 Common Sense [10] Luck 1 [0] Fit [5] Night Vision 1 [1] Curious [-5] Lecherousness [-15] Pacifism (Cannot Harm Innocents) [-10] Post-Combat Shakes [-5] Careful [-1] Guns (Rifle) 13 [4] Guns (Pistol) 12 [2] Brawling 12 [2] Driving (Motorcycle) 12 [4] Name Damage Reach Parry Wgt ST Cost Survival Knife (stainless) sw-2 C,1 -1 1 6 $45 thr C Name Damage Acc Range Wgt Rof Shots ST Bulk Rcl Cost Marlin Guide Gun .45-70 5d-1 pi+ 3 470/3000 7/0.3 2 4+1(2i) 10 -5 4 $600 Glock 20 10mm (home) 3d-1 pi+ 2 160/1800 2.4/0.7 3 10+1(3) 10 -2 4 $600/$32

Thomas Brandt - Cabin Main Room Thomas took another peek. Still standing, somehow, but it shouldn't be long now. He gingerly set the molten lead down on the floor and began to look for something that could wedge the wendigo's mouth open. pre:ST 11 DX 10 IQ 11 HT 11 HP: 11 Will: 11 Per: 12 FP: 11 Damage: 1d-1 Thrust, 1d+1 swing Basic Speed: 5.0 Basic Move: 5 Basic Lift: 24 Luck, Fit, Night Vision 2, Single-Minded First Aid 11, Stealth 10, Running 12 Weapons: lol paper bag with a face fucked around with this message at 01:23 on Sep 29, 2014 |

Okay, so here's the deal. I'm insanely busy right now. Classes are starting next week, and my free time is going to go from maybe an hour a day to almost nothing. I can either put this game on hiatus. shut it down, or update at a glacial pace until my time starts to free up in around 6 months. It's your choice. To get an idea of how busy I'm going to be, I'm probably not going to get a chance to go shooting for the next six months. I say that as a TFR regular, who's primary stress relief is shooting.

I just moved across the country, so I'm not going to be able to devote as much attention as I'd like to the game myself. I have been having fun with it, so I say put it on hiatus.

I definitely don't want the game to stall out, so I'm fine with either slow updates or a hiatus.

Hiatus it is then. I'll see you all in six months. Now I need to run out, and spend the next hour and forty minutes on a bus, get a bunch of things like my ID and university buss pass, and then try and locate someone who will actually tell me where my loving classes are going to be on campus
