I like old series doctor who-the 2nd through 4th doctors. New Doctor Who sucks, I watched the reboot pilot episode and hated every second/every character in it. Apparently, New Doctor Who series gets much much worse. Game of Thrones: haven't touched the books or tv series since George RR Martin is a horrible loving author. He inflicted Wildcards on me, which was full of stupidity and rape and more stupidity and body horrors and more rape. Game of thrones seems like a 3rd rate "soap opera in fantasyland" mashup, so gently caress that.

I want to point out first that I've watched maybe 10 minutes of Doctor Who, but I've got a couple of friends who like it for some reason (the part I saw left me no desire to ever watch it again). In old episodes he would introduce himself as "the doctor" and people would ask "Doctor who?" about him. It was literally a joke. Since he's still referred to as "the doctor" it doesn't really make any sense at all that it's a loving name.
