I didn't see a post on this forum, so if I missed it, please merge with the previous thread. hopefully this will go better then last time. :p ************************************ I pretty much had 2 thoughts of this movie. 1. Dwayne Johnson does a better Kevin Sorbo, then Kevin Sorbo . 2. God of War would be way more awesome if Hercules was the main character then Krakos (spits). The Movie Was a Greek version of Conan the destroyer with liberal sprinklings from Army of Darkness...and it was more awesome because of it. By downplaying the supernatural aspects and treating it more like an adventuring party, it had a seriously fun feel. Of particular note were Ian McShane (Amphiaraus) who played a wacky priest, and Rufus Sewell (Autolycus) who plays a version that truly is comparable to the originator (Bruce Campbell). However Ingrid Bolsų Berdalp plays an awesome amazon (Atalanta), Tobias Santelmann plays a mean berserker (Rhesus), and hell even the bard did a descent job (Reece Ritchie/Iolaus). John Hurt needs to go on a diet after chewing on all that scenery.
