for iis its like 30 seconds in a wizard. w/ apache its like 2 minutes w/ a text editor. w/ tomcat its a pain in the dick cause you gotta create a keystore. still, like 5 minutes tho.

Don't you have to pay for it though. My work always uses https for all our server web-interfaces, but we use self-signed certs so you get that user-unfriendly warning message the first time you visit.
