"In football, time and space are the same thing."
Its a shame that it doesn't include retired players, but they don't seem to keep this info, except on the Greatest 11 information and a team's all time player statistics.
I have a player thats just retired with 93 goals for example. And there is Mr Taupe of course.

But yes, thanks. Its an interesting read (I've battled Fico Lo Gatto so many times)

I'm going to stop playing this league, my team needs to be renovated and I don't really want to do it. If the league admin could, you should fire me from Sardine FC and maybe someone else might want to have a go, since it has some good players a a bit of money. I can't do it apparently.

I have to say, the new interface kinda sucks. I can't collect sponsor activity with an ad blocker and seeing numbers is not clear. I'm considering quitting too unless someone has a way to do the sponsor activity without turning of the adblocker or there is a way to switch to the old interface.

I think I'm going to quit playing, I haven't really been having fun playing in quite a while and it's been a chore remembering to login and set tactics etc. so I figure I'll let someone else take the reigns. Portland Mondays FC is in better shape than when I found it, so hopefully someone else has better luck than me in the future.

Edit: the game won't let me resign, so if the admin could please fire me, I'd appreciate it!

Go ahead and give my team away if someone wants it. It's in Series Goons so it has a decent roster, going to need rebuilding soon though.

Congratulations to Shivermetinkers on his third (I think?) Serie Goon title.

So, this league... Is it continuing? Or is it time to try and recruit and restart?

We still have 26 teams showing active. Depends on if a restart will pull enough people in that will stay active. I'm mid rebuild and it's going quite well so I'm happy either way.

I don't mind, I don't think the league will last long enough for me to rebuild now but I can linger a while longer as a nearly ran. I'm not sure what happened with the previous league as this is my first time but I'd be happy if we recruited and restarted because I think I know vaguely what I'm doing now.

End of season 17 now. Should be lots of competition at the top because a few teams have a really strong core team at their peak going in to the last few years!

Looking forward to the last couple seasons before the inevitable reboot! If I get time I might post some of the recent stats.

Renko is now available if this league carries on and anyone fancies trying for the Serie Goon win that eluded me.

I'll keep an eye out for any league reboot, might be tempted to rejoin then.

"In football, time and space are the same thing."
I'd be happy with that, partly because I've never been part of a brand new league.
Wouldn't be surprised if we only get enough interest for a single division though.

I'm not sure the people who rebooted it last time are even still playing, I'm not sure how they did it. I know they got a banner ad though, because that's what I clicked on.

We'd definitely need a new thread as a start. Last time we started with over 100 teams but that quickly when down to about 60 active.

Anyone who wanted to run it would be best starting the thread linked off of here and start getting teams in probably as this season finishes. Would likely get all the active managers crossing over comfortably and hopefully a few returning from last time with some newbies. Even managing to get 40ish in would be a good start if they're active.

Season 19 done. 20th and final season coming up is basically a testimonial season. How much interest do we still have from the guys still around in rebuilding and recruiting for another fresh start league?

I still play (though don't check this thread) and would enjoy being part of a brand new league, as I've never done that.
Difficult not to feel that the game has had its time on the forums though. Maybe a proper recruitment drive will work though, we've talked about it for the last 12 months but not really done it...

I have a team in the Hurricane League - http://www.xperteleven.com/bigStandings.aspx?Lid=182147&Sel=T&Lnr=0
Its mostly competent and has 50 active teams. It is also only 6 per league and two games a week, so seasons only last a month. I like the quick turnaround as its fun seeing players develop so fast.

I highly recommend the World Select. A very strong league with a good range of managers, from very good to more casual players. Its ranked number 8 at the minute, plenty of prizes and most importantly, very active press releases and scribble.
