Funny you mention this, since in my trips to Florida I've noticed a lack of coozies, and when I saw them, they were missing the funny joke which makes coozies so fun. As for use, they are intended of course to insulate your beer a bit and keep it colder longer. Other benefits include moisture control, ease of handling, funny joke, and the easy means to mark your beer.
