Probably saved due to the DC connection. And I feel the Discovery WB folks are slowly killing off anything that isn't super cheap to produce or a crazy blockbuster like GoT.

I’m betting once the CEO is aware of HQ’s subject matter he’ll either move the show to a more conservative showrunner or cancel it. I guess it depends on what pull James Gunn has with that regard. He seems to like the show enough to appear in it.
