I'm more just amused by the fact that these people's minds are so clouded that they can, without any hint of self-awareness, refer to their opponents as progressives as if progress were a bad thing. Progress by definition is considered positive change, and they're pretty much openly admitting that they're against positive change.

Yeah, the entire issue boils down to Right Wing groups being upset that they can't just replace history with propaganda and remove any mention of civil disobedience. It's hosed up bullshit, but to be honest students barely look at their textbooks aside from class time and go straight to the internet for everything, which is much harder to hide information on.

The obvious next stage being that the internet needs to be regulated and have dissenting opinions removed.
