New Eden House record is out

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MdfHSspwxIY

https://theedenhouse.bandcamp.com/album/songs-for-the-broken-ones

Gothic easy listening / bedroom music with Tony Pettitt (ex-Fields of the Nephilim) on bass. I like it because I am past the age of 30 and life is about chilling, baby!

Monica Richards of Faith & The Muse doing vocals on most of the tracks. Not that one, though.

Can some gloomy post-punk come live in this thread? Black Marble's "It's Immaterial" is good stuff:

Whispering Sons is a post-punk/coldwave band of a few friends of mine who're touring right now. They're still really young but bring great live shows and i've worked on their first video which is probably a bit :nws: because of blood

Also thanks for whoever posted Light Asylum!

Two good ones came in:

Hante: Between Hope & Danger - the excellent second album

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8gSb8byzT0U

Dreams Are Like Water: A Sea Spell - a new goth rock band with Michel Rowland of Disjecta Membra, but the neofolk thread got closed

These are both great and you should put them on in the background at your first opportunity

Do they want a gig in Denmark? Let me know, we got a wave/post festival coming up.

Stupid people are great at winning arguments, because they're too stupid to realize they've lost.

Not any more they're not. did the giveaway at work and by the time I got home, they'd gone back to $9.

If you go to their front page https://projektrecords.bandcamp.com/ there's a section for what's free this week

The human animal is a beautiful and terrible creature, capable of limitless compassion and unfathomable cruelty.
I've been digging on 80s deathrock band Altar de Fey lately- apparently they recently recorded a bunch of old material for release, and their stuff's on Bandcamp. My favorite track is Veil of Death but the whole album is really good.

I am really glad this thread exists.

A few things I'd like to share — Corpus Delicti were a really good band from France in the 1990s that played straightforward goth rock. Dramatic vocals and lyrics with guitars and drums that rock pretty hard. Some of their music is compiled on Spotify. "Patient" and "Noxious (The Demon's Game)" are pretty representative of their sound if you want to check them out.

Someone posted about Grave Babies earlier, but I heard them for the first time this year. This song will make you want to wait for a warm sunny day to put on your thickest, blackest shades, rent a red convertible, and blast this at full volume to ruin moods. I'm trying to channel the ridiculous video for The Sisters' of Mercy, "Black Planet," and in a way, I feel like "Eternal (On and On) is a strange descendant of "Black Planet."

Lastly, for fans of Drab Majesty, Black Marble, et al., "To You My Bliss" is a single from M!R!M that bowled me over when I heard it. It's got that Polymoog Vox Humana whine and is just overall goth af. I love that there are young folks releasing music like this today.

This is Frozen Autumn, who do "electro-darkwave", i.e. electronic goth from before that meant trance techno. This track represents what they do pretty well. This is from the album The Fellow Traveler, which is up on Echozone's Bandcamp. I reviewed it a few months ago.

Posted about it in the electro-industrial thread, but fans may be interested to know that Maya Postepski, Austra's drummer, left Austra in May and has since rejoined TR/ST.
