The song Lie I linked above sounded pretty good for Luka. Also, Secret is a really good sounding Luka song in English. It always reminded me of something Lady Gaga would toss out.

MJQ's retune of Sharing The World is awesome. Let this anime girl free your soul, FRIENDO.

"Yeh've forged a magnificent sword."

"This one's only practice. The real sword I intend to forge will be three times longer."

"Can there really be a sword as monstrous as that in this world?"

"Yes. I can see that sword... Somewhere out there..."
Apparently Kikuo is doing a new song every two weeks. UFO is one of his better works, so I'm pretty optimistic about this! It went up on the 21st, so it's not too long until the next one! He has an official Youtube channel, which is worth keeping an eye on.

By sheer coincidence, there's another good UFO song I ran into a little while ago--I'm pretty fond of TadanoCo's weird style, especially the sort of alternating duet he does in some songs, so I like The UFO of Love and Hate a lot.

I love me some Vocaloid.

This track by Take starts as a chill Electronic song then slips right into Breakcore. Some may find the switch jarring but I think it works really well.

One of my favourite Miku Append tracks and the MMD uses the very nice TDA Append model. A dance-y EDM track

I'm surprised (or just blind) that no-one mentioned 8#Prince yet so here's Sweet Devil Raver remix.

Can we also post Vocaloid related MMDs?

I don't wanna post too many embeds so I'll just link some more here.
For metal fans Caz is pretty good. He does both clean vocals, Corruption Garden and scream, Angel Bullet.
シロ飯 is one of the reasons why I like Rin so much. Metal mixing clean and scream vocals, Disappear Dancer.

Electronic wise Circus-P does some great work, iNSaNiTY.
If you like Dubstep and stuff Rin Ginsuke should be right up your alley, Decadent

Is there a single song out there sung by Miku or Luka or whoever, in English, that doesn't sound loving terrible?

Heart Connect (suzume/kemu, Gumi) - Big fat rock track with a bunch of great names on instruments.

Ariadne (kurousa, Miku) - Softer, but has some great waily guitars and some brass bits in there.

Love Cino (Junky, Rin) - Junky still the leader when it comes to stupidly cute tracks.

Also, someone do an utata post so that I don't have to.

Khezu Khezu Khezu Khezu Khezu Khezu Khezu Khezu

I really like the artwork for these. It reminds me a bit of Ratchet & Clank then I get excited for the idea of a R&C styled Vocaloid game which will never happen. Ever.

New AVTechNo! video 17k Disorder and an audio video for HSP's Shiro were both just recently thrown up on YouTube.

Shilling a Plug.DJ room my co-worker and I made. It's a pretty simple webite to share/listen to Vocaloid videos together, so far it has YouTube and SoundCloud support. They recently changed the sign up process to be easier and no longer requires a social media account so I've been using it more to discover Vocaloid songs. We are usually in there playing poo poo for the majority of the day along with a few other people.

So how about that VY1V4?

Quite nice indeed. But I think I prefer the GUMI original over the VY1V4 cover for this one, though perhaps that's because I'm more used to the tone of the original. I kind of feel like cillia's other recent VY1V4 cover of Fairytale, is a better showcase of the new engine.

Two days ago I spent a while searching for a vocaloid thread to no avail. Does everything I wish for come true?

Hooray, I'm hooked on another MitchieM song.
It's catchy and cute and most importantly at 1:45 she makes a noise that it didn't occur to me that a vocaloid was capable of making.

GROSS BOY

I just discovered VY1V4, and goddamn it's well nigh almost perfect.

Wait for the crescendos, that's some impressive sounding stuff coming from a vocaloid.

I have spent way too much time listening to Night's End since it's come out. 0:45 to 2:40 is a pretty amazing stretch of music, and the whole thing in general is a great example of musical storytelling, with the way the constantly changing sound tells the story as much as the actual lyrics. I also really like it as a contrast to the rest of the producer's stuff, because he tends to skew a lot darker.

Speaking of "usually darker," Kikuo's Kikuomiku 4 came out via digital distribution around the start of the year. In terms of sheer consistency, it's definitely his best album so far, and I already really liked him before. Give the man money! A lot of the songs on it are on his Youtube channel, including a new one in the last day or two (but the singer is non-Vocaloid so it's kind of outside the point of the thread).
