Issue
Im using the latest version of firefox, and when trying to download some pictures from the usual spots, they are frozen in "unknown time remaining" download status. Some pictures are being downloaded with broken thumbnails too.
heres an example

This isnt for all pics, but it happens frequently. Im also using VERY few add ons, only adblock, https everywhere, disconnect and download helper. All latest versions. The only plug ins I have are the default ones.

Attempted fixes:
Disabled add-ons, reset firefox, permanently removed non popular plug ins such as classic theme restorer

I'm using win 7 64 bit, latest service pack, latest version of FF, etc And yep, I followed the previous attempts from google searching.

This problem seems pretty minor misbehavior, but Im just curious to know if this is a common issue. Thanks in advance guys.

Does IE or any other browser exhibit this issue or just FF?

If it's only FF I would completely remove it and reinstall to a new directory to see if that makes any difference.

If that doesn't help I'd run a scan with the portable edition of CDI to make sure your HD isn't having issues. http://crystalmark.info/download/index-e.html

I've gotten that a few times with the latest version of FF on Mac. I think it's just a bug in the current release, it hasn't reoccurred for me.

Its actually just FF, as IE loads pics just fine. I think if there's not a convenient work around for this issue, then a reinstall is gonna happen. Also, thanks for the link, Ill save it another issue I'm having with an HD I have

Actually, I did reinstall an older version of FF some weeks ago, and the image issue was resolved. Eventually I upgraded to the newest version of FF afterwards, as I had thought the issue wouldve been fixed. It didnt, but at least I know the issue isnt unique on my end.

Thanks guys.
