For what it's worth I have a BA in Medieval Studies and a minor in history, am pursuing an MA in history and I don't really GAF if movies are accurate as long as they have something to say and are well made

I devoured some books on feudal Japan after seeing The Last Samurai and I also ended up doing a lot of study of Western warfare because the movie also mentioned the 300 Spartans. It just depends on how they present it really.
