In college, Subway told me I wouldn't regret paying $10 for the forums. Contrary to the meme at the time, I thought SA was just a front page. LingcodKilla posted:Uh... DPPH. A friend of mine said this place was cool and that people made jokes and posted funny pictures. Also they'd play video games and screw around with people. Now the jokes aren't funny and I don't like video games. Still some good pictures from time to time though.

i was going through a difficult time in my life w/r/t being a fuckup & the self-esteem issues stemming from that, and reading about people who are even worse (often exotically so) offered a nice distraction.still havent made any significant improvements because now i just hunker down & compulsively seek out forums drama instead of growing a spine & fixing poo poo, when im at a low ebb (~80% of the time)
