Like MATLAB, Spyder is nice for really straightforward use cases, like if you just want to code out some really basic poo poo and get some results right away then it's fine, just a little clunky. It's lovely for projects, and it crashes easily if you're doing memory-intensive things

Bloody posted:ipython is slow & likes to crash, dont use it either idk if ive ever had an ipython crash, worst that happens is matplotlib does something lovely w/ trapping exceptions or something and control-c stops working properly
