The closest I have to a nickname for the current pet is: "gently caress off, cat!" Her name is Inky, but I often just call her "cat." Unless she is being particularly annoying, then she gets the full "gently caress off, cat!"

My old cat's name was technically George but I had known him as Udler since before I can remember. I think the name came from "Georgie porgie puddin and pie" or like "puddlin and pie" which begat "puddler" which begat Udler. This was done by my mom and dad a long time ago. He was a good cat.
