Laying it on you right now:

Ingredients:

3 lbs ground turkey

salt

pepper

Worcestershire sauce

1 can of beer

4 cloves of garlic (or however much you want).

1 onion

1 green bell pepper

1 red bell pepper

2 cans refried beans

1 can red beans

1 can kidney beans

1 large jar of salsa

Chili powder (I use 2 tbsp)

Cumin (I use 4 tbsp)

Instructions

Season the ground turkey with the salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce.

Sautee 1 onion, 1 green bell pepper, 1 red bell pepper in olive oil and diced garlic. Once the onions start to turn transparent, dump in the ground turkey and half the beer. Cook the turkey until it is brown.

Mix in the red beans, kidney beans, refried beans and salsa. Use half of the remaining beer to wash out the salsa jar and dump it in the chili (drink whatever beer is left over).

Mix it all together until it is a stew, then add the chili powder and cumin. However much chili powder you add, add twice as much cumin.

Let boil for five minutes (keep stirring) and then turn off heat.

Serve over brown rice with Fritos Scoops on top.

Thank me for giving you the best chili recipe.

It's fair to say that you can call it chili if it meets the following criteria:

it is a stew

what kind of hot chilies do you put in your chili?
personally i chop up half of a red bell pepper and throw the other half out (so the chili doesnt get too spicy)

75% of my yearly garden is chili ingredients. 2 pounds of 93% lean beef goes with 12-14 good sized tomatoes, 6-8 jalepenos, 1 large banana pepper, and 2-3 habaneros. I also dice up about 1.5 cups of green onions. I grow all that stuff.

I don't grow my own beans, though, too much work and I can't afford slaves, so I get red kidney, black, and "chili beans" whatever those are.

I like lots of variety in my chili.

Makes about a gallon and a half and I eat it for 2 days then freeze 4 1-quart containers.
