Conventional wisdom says you can't push a goalie and cause the puck to go in, but they've reviewed it and even credited it to Marleau after Nieto just pushes Reimer's pad. Obviously it's a little more complex than that but it's weird that nobody's really saying anything about it.

My guess is they're considering it an honest attempt to play a loose puck. Also, woo Polak!

Yeah and that's absolutely fair, but I feel like another night with another ref and it might be a different story, and it's odd to me that the Sharks announcers are like "Oh yeah he just pushed the goalie's leg" like that's a normal thing.

of course the worst individual player on the team gets another fluke goal, perpetuating his tenure on the club.

One of the TSN announcers was saying he expected it to be called off and was surprised it wasn't. It'll probably be talked about during the intermission, but I'm not watching that.

Also, that power play was super embarrassing.

I'll say, and I'm not talking about how the Leafs handled it.

Hard to agree and hard to call it a fluke because he's one of two people on this roster capable of joining a rush and the only one not a rookie. I don't understand your rage here other than I think you need to have some.

The Stars are the reverse Anaheim Ducks.

It's nice we beat Minnesota 7-1 that one time, but it doesn't really make up for the 10 one goal loses against our own division this year.

I just tuned into the Toronto feed in time to see the one Drew Carey looking dude explaining the rule about pushing a goalie into the puck in the crease, and my wife asks, "Why is he yelling?"

COACH TOTORO SAY REFEREE CAN BANISH WHISTLE TO LAND OF WIND AND GHOSTS!
Leafs on track to give up 40+ shot on goal when Reimer's in net yet again.

Reimer's faced an average of 35.8 shots/game so far this season.

Obvious conclusion: The Leafs hate Reimer

Well, the Habs lost, but so did the Leafs. The Bruins won too, which is bad. The Canucks won, which is good! Two out of four ain't bad?
