Fallon is mostly good because of his genuine friendship with many of the people who appear on his show. He's a cool guy and I'd be friends with him and I harbor no dislike for him in any way. Also The Roots are cool. But he doesn't exactly nail it as a talk show host. You have to be 'better' than the celebrities you interview to make it interesting for the drunk who is watching your show and hating their life. Not their best friend.
