One of the many things I miss about my CRT. I also miss the resolution that basically makes my icons microscopic for super mega high resolution porn. I don't miss the hilarious weight however.

I miss that all resolutions look good on it and they weren't tied down to one fixed resolution like LCD

Zapping people with the static buildup from the screens was always fun. With the right shoes, I used to be able to harvest static electricity from half a dozen screens, then unload it into an unsuspecting victim with an audible 'crack' and a visible arc.

I had this beast of a 19" flat screen and it had to weigh a hundred pounds. I had to move that bitch a few times and it was pretty awkward.

I alone can see through the media bias.

I'm also stupid on a scale that can only be measured in Reddits.
I can lift my LCDTV which I use as a monitor with one arm if needed though it's a bit too large to do that comfortably. :smug:

Degaussing was fun but at least I don't have to rent a backhoe to move my current setup.

I remember it needed a proprietary stand just for that exact model of TV so it would not collapse.

The permanent indentation was in our fingers; they were purple for a good hour after

Never saw picture quality as good as it
