Somehow my Mom got an imported version for my dreamcast and I had to put in a special loader disc to play it so I wouldnsay not that way.

Shenmue 2 is better than 1, leaps and bounds.

While completely true, it's still of utmost importance that everyone plays both.

For Christmas I asked for import Shenmue 2, got an Xbox and Shenmue 2 instead. I was pretty satisfied with that outcome.

If grim loving fandango can get a HD re-release in 2015 i promise you that shenmue will pop up again in the near future.
