Does anyone know how to allow multiple connections per IP on Apache2 for users to use more than 1 download or segment on their download managers? I'm told our server only lets people use 1 segment when they download from us. From looking at the config files it seems like everything should be fine, but apparently not.

Thanks!!

Sure it's not the client that's the issue? Some browsers will queue downloads from the same domain name, or they may have tied down their number of connections per domain (it's typically 2-4). If that's the case, you can work around this on the server by having a bunch of ServerAliases (e.g. download1.foo.com, download2.foo.com, ...) and round-robin the aliases when you're generating download URLs. This tricks the browser into opening more connections because it doesn't realize they're all coming from the same server.
