I used to live in Boynton Beach, the shithole of west palm. 18 months ago after losing my job I lived in a borderline apartment, got robbed and called the cops. The kid got onto the balcony and pried the sliding glass open, I didn't have a bar but the latch the lovely lock locks on to was on the balcony floor. Two iPads and some of my medications were gone. Cops show up. Female 'crime scene investigator' takes one look at the front door and says she sees no sign of forced entry, won't come to the balcony to see the busted latch. Male cop is taking down information and the moment I mentioned medications he instantly switches into 'Ok you need to sign this but if you're lying it's a felony' and just becomes belligerent. I get pissed off from his repeated 'you sure you want to sign this because if you're lying it's a felony' and asks why I'm so pissed. I nearly yell SOMEONE WAS IN MY loving HOUSE AND ALL YOUR DOING IS THREATENING ME. They keep blowing us off and leave. Next morning the idiot kid turns on one ipad and I immediately locate it through the device locator app on my laptop and call the cops again. Kid gave it to the 15 year old girl next store to try and sell, they arrest her and when I ask what about the kid who stole it he tells me "you have your iPads back, what's the problem?". I actually went to file a complaint and got a barely veiled 'Are you really sure you want to file this against one of our upstanding officers' and carefully explaining how he wouldn't wouldnt want to be me if I get pulled over without flat out saying it. I later find out the kid who broke in is known by everyone living there and the cops for this. But there's a K-9 unit who lives there in exchange for doing night patrols by which I mean go outside, start his car and go back inside and watch tv. And he's sleeping with the kids mother. I will at least give some credit to the first cop who went rear end in a top hat on me, apparently he went on vacation for three days the next day and when he got back and found out I was actually broken into he came out off duty and apologized, said they get "someone stole my pills" calls 20 times a day even going as far as saying he's not saying it he was justified just that he jumped to the conclusion and wanted to tell me he was wrong for doing it.

I don't understand where the FDLE or the FBI is in all this. Miami and Miami Gardens are both ridiculously corrupt and public embarassments and yet no one has stepped in to flush the toilets on either departments.

Palm Beach county native here to say that none of this poo poo is shocking to anyone but the gated community crowd, who probably approve of everything but the wife giving a blowjob thing anyway. Nothing will be done, except maybe an angry chalky lynch mob putting the whistleblowers out on the street or in jail for slandering the good name of our police. Remember, part of our county was responsible for putting Allen West in office.
