Do any of you guys have experience with 'going pro' on a file sharing website to upload bigger files?

Is there a negative stigma towards using them? Is there a particular website that might be the best for this?

For clarification I mean something like mega.co or sendspace, if anyone has experience with this, thanks in advance.
