Firefox, formerly known as Firebird, formerly known as Phoenix, is a separate entity. http://www.seamonkey-project.org/

Archeologists of the future are going to excavate all of our garbage dumps and wrongfully conclude that AOL was the most popular internet provider of the 21st century.

I remember when getting an image off of the internet was this super cool, new, unique thing, that was made even cooler by the terrible dial-up connection building a sense of earning into every image. I also remember how last night I googled for Gargamel porn, found the weirdest one from a gigantic wall of disgusting images, photoshopped a bunch of Flintstone faces onto it, uploaded that image to an astronomical database solely comprised of images, and then posted it to a stupid internet forum all in the span of five minutes without batting an eye.

i remember some version of netscape where the history was saved in a plaintext file somewhere obvious. there was no private mode so if you wanted to spend time googling titties you could just put the history file to read-only for a while i mean that's what I heard at least
