Lee Kuan Yew has died. I didn't like the guy and didn't like a lot of the policies he instituted or (as mentor) oversaw in Singapore. I'm no fan of the PAP. However, the man did very impressive things, was a monument in 20th century history and will likely not be recognised by most of the world for his impact or legacy. A great figure of the 20th century has passed. Example: He banned chewing gum in Singapore.
