I’m somewhat obsessed with physical fitness right now. It’s surprising, because the new year’s health push usually dissipates by February! Just yesterday I thought, “What’s the point of being thin if I don’t have four pack abs?” And then I started thinking what kind of person thinks about these types of questions? Pretty unproductive and pointless if you ask me. I’ve come to the conclusion that those with the highest self-esteem are the least fit and most indebted people on Earth. Meanwhile, those who constantly think about their looks, and who are always at the gym exercising and pumping iron have the lowest self-esteem. They are constantly checking themselves in the mirror to admire their physiques, even though they already know they look fine.

I have a FB friend who was formerly fat & lost a bunch of weight doing a crossfit/bulimia plan & she always wants to talk to me about fitness, because I'm pretty vain & can be a little obsessive about working out and will usually jump at the chance to bore the poo poo out of someone talking boring fitness talk, but whenever we would talk she would just want to talk about two things: 1) crossfit poo poo that has it's own weird moon language and 2) how disgusting she found people she knew that were fatter than her and was basically just wanting me to say horrible poo poo about fat people so we could both, I don't know, feel superior about how fat people were subhuman or whatever. I'm guessing the fat threads are filled with people like her. edit: basically I hope she'll find it just as hilarious when she gains all that weight back
