Also when going through to get those pictures, I noticed that with his shoulder length black hair the Captain Britain Zombie we see prominently in Black Panther's army in #7 and #8 is the same Captain Britain we see in issue #2 when we're introduced to battleworld and he gets sent over the Shield as punishment.

I can't believe everyone's posting Ribic faces and no one's posted the one that drives me crazy, the one on the very last page of his magnum opus. Look at it. Look.

Looking at other elements, his left ear is also higher than his right ear, so there's consistency in that I tried a straight line up from the center of his lip and it seems like there's more on one side than the other, so I would say the discrepancies are due to ol' Vic tilting his head slightly to his right

Yeah thats pretty much why I read those features as fine. It's a human face, not a level guide. They're squishy and can sit at odd angles and look more natural than if they were perfectly symmetrical. Or reed fixed his face up but made it lopsided to gently caress with Doom.

Head slightly tilted to one side has eyes that are not perfectly level with the horizon, film at 11.

Look, I'm not artist enough to really argue this with you, I just see it as a straight-on face where the eyes are lopsided and the left one is even sunken in further than the right. I guess I'll just get used to living in a world where I'm right and everyone else is stupid.

Here are some actual photographs of Iron Man, Captain America, Batman, and Starlord, all of which were the first or second hit on Google Images, where they tilt their head slightly to one side or the other, turning them into misshapen monsters: I mean sure their eyes are wonky, but also their ears don't even line up. Pretty hosed up.

E:Wrong thread, ignore that previous version of this post. But yes, so for my two cents, I like Ribic's art. For all of its... eccentricities, it's very good at expressing emotions on characters instead of just making them big statuesque figures or... whatever the hell you might call the Lee/Liefeld school of growlygrimacemen.
