i remember one of the first times i went on reddit this person was using an acronym 'cp' which i couldnt figure out in context (sry cant remember the context) so i asked what it meant. TDIL (That Day I Learned) cp stands for child porn apparently

I learned what it meant because someone I knew was banned from 4chan for distributing cp or something. they tried disputing it, idk where that went.

PLT : 'cheese pizza' means... you guessed it. Reddit is good for tiny, super-specialized boards but the bigger ones are terrible. The same 10-15 topics with the same 10-15 replies are endlessly repeated, I don't get how anybody can stand that. tumblr is a good idea and has lots of good stuff if you follow the right people, i don't know why it became the service of choice for insane people though.

Reddit is honestly worse if I can seriouspost for a minute. I've met some cool people on tumblr. Meanwhile Redditors range from 'barely tolerable' to 'absolute shithead'

You know an internet community has a problem when they use the term "child pornography" so often that they needed to come up with an acronym to streamline the process. (4chan is especially guilty of this)

lol I once found a subreddit dedicated to tell stories of weaboos in real life and mock them, and in almost all of the posts the ops were more insufferable than the people they mocked. Made me think.

As a bonus, here's a thread where a redditor posts tons of details about his teacher wife totally didn't have sex with a minor(but almost certainly did) and wants legal advice on what to do now that the kid is blackmailing them.
