Since we have a persistent "worst thread ever," it got me to wondering what would constitute the "best thread ever" for GBS? What exactly would make up the content there? Instead of a containment zone, would it be an exclusion zone, where certain posters (you know who you are) are not allowed to post? Would there be a specific set of topics that can only be discussed in the heaventhread? Perhaps if we can determine what would make a GBS thread "best ever" we can make our collective dream a reality. Or maybe it will just be goatses, all the way down.

Best thread already happened and it was the Ms Paint Goooooons thread, however most of the images died with waffle images sadly. HTH
