I'm having a little trouble with the machine I'm setting up to score this, I'll open it when i I can fix it. I'll score everyone who entered by hand
Due to limitations on contract length in the current CBA, many players will sign contracts this offseason. This game is a a challenge in the field of guessing. Guessing in the field of contract dollar figures!

To win, you'll have to guess free agent contracts in their stated dollar amounts. 20 points for a perfect guess, and a point is lost for every .5 million of the number.

Whatever number is reported one month after the first day of free agency is the figure I'll use to do the initial score. Guys who don't get signed by then won't be counted until the season starts, if anyone remembers to bump the thread

We're going to be guessing both the contract values for the top free agents as well as notable role players. Some players will not be included in the game. If you'd like to include them, just put them in [quote tags and write BONUS GUESSES, if you truly want to demonstrate free agency dominance. They won't be counted toward the ultimate leaderboard, the heroe's chalk up spot, the true NBA mastermind pestle trestle.

Please submit your predictions in this form. (if you'd like, you can include the dollars per year, years, etc, but do it on another line, so I can read through more easily.) Players who take their options, and thusly do not enter free agency, won't count toward the total. I included players who have a decent chance of entering free agency despite player or team options.

it's kind of hard before the cap gets released since that's what the maxs are based off.

for everyone else, going on projections the small max is 5 years 95 for a team with bird rights / 4 Years 70 for those without, mid max is 5 years 105 / 4 Years 80, big max is 5 Years 125 / 4 Years 90

Is there any value in reporting the # of years in a contract at all, or is or just for kicks?
just for kicks, it also makes the predictions more understandable if you go back and look at how you did. If you just said 10million it could be anywhere from a one or four year deal, and you can have bragging rights if you got the correct amount per year, but the wrong amount of years

Your field:
Point Guards

Leandro Barbosa (33) Re-signs with Warriors for the Vet minimum. Guessing two years
Patrick Beverley (27) (R) ~4mil/year for four years, so like, 16 mil
Will Bynum (32) Vet minimum

Nick Calathes (26) (R) 12 million over 3 years seems fine. (Personally I think that's steep for Calathes, but for some of these I'm gonna overestimate because GMs)
Jordan Clarkson (23) (N) 800,000 ish (Rick says the Lakers have a team option. They would be insane not to take it)
Norris Cole (27) (R) 11 mill over 3 years

Goran Dragic (29) Someone will max this guy. 103 million
Reggie Jackson (25) (R) 1 year 4 million (I'm gonna gamble here. Jackson could easily make more money, but I think better players on the market is gonna squeeze him out and he takes a cheap showcase year hoping to pay off later)
Cory Joseph (24) (R) 15 mill over 3 years (Spurs are the type of organization to stick with a young player after they show a marked improvement)

Brandon Knight (24) (R) 22 mil over 3 years (I don't doubt that SOMEONE would pay Knight like 12 mil, but I wouldn't.)
Jeremy Lin (27) 18 mil over 3
Rajon Rondo (29) 26 mil over 2 years.

Shooting Guards

Arron Afflalo (30) – $7.94MM player option Takes player option

Langston Galloway (24) (N) 3 years, 10 mil
Manu Ginobili (38) 1 year at 4
