Problem Description: I bought a new computer a week or two ago, and while everything else works fine apparently when I talk on both Skype and Teamspeak (I havent tried any other talky programs but I can't imagine that they're the issue considering it's the exact same problem) according to my friends my voice is coming out as really tinny/tunnel-y. My voice comes out perfectly fine on clientside mic tests, but for some reason the transmitting fucks it up (and only on this computer too, I've tried the old one on the same internet connection and it's fine there as well) Attempted fixes: Fiddled with as many Skype/teamspeak/computer settings as I can (tho I'm Really Bad At Computers as evidenced by my posting here so i may have missed something), tried the rear mic/audio jacks, currently trying to find a mic somewhere so i can test with a different one Recent changes: New computer is Windows 8 unlike the last one, plus like I mentioned I may have forgot to re-switch some default settings -- OS: Windows 8.1 64-bit Specs: I'm really bad at this so this is probably more comprehensive than I could do, def yell at me if its not though Loation: United States I have Googled and read the FAQ: Of course!
