You will note that people can remember and quote Goodfellas pretty much in it's entirety and the only thing people remember about Blow is Johnny Depps goofy wig and Bahston accent.

Blow didn't even seem that interested in its subject matter it just touched all the bases as quick as it could while the audience struggled to stay awake. It was a pile of cliches and it was filmed in an artless, static manner. It's a full league below Goodfellas both as a crime story and as an example of how to make a movie. Casino was phoned in by the entire cast and of course ruined by sharon stone, who has never been in a scene she didn't take a huge poo poo on

To see your brother beaten almost to death and thrown in a hole to be buried alive is a level of torture no one should have to go through. It's actually a pretty painful scene, and gives the viewer a sense of what the stakes were the whole time.

I liked casino but it started a lot slower than Goodfellas and I don't know if I could watch it again. All those long panoramic shots of Vegas were ehhh. Personally I liked the frenetic, coked out section of Goodfellas before he gets caught but I get how one could see it as rushed. I did not watch the entire output of the random Johnny Depp movie generator so I didn't watch Blow.
