SWIDT?
Hi, two norwegians driving from San Fransisco to Miami in september, and we need some sort of mobile broadband to take with us. Can't just rely on free wifi in hotels and coffee shops :)

Any advice?
There will be some data flowing, we are both photo interested and active on social media, might even have to work some. A mobile router would be preferable.

A prepaid hotspot is what you're looking for, I'd guess.

Verizon will probably offer the best coverage during your trip, so I'd start there and compare from there:

Alternatively, you could probably bring an unlocked smart phone, pop in a data sim and use tethering for your other devices.

Freedompop offers 2 gigs of 4 g data for free on their hotspots if memory serves. It runs on the sprint network.
