Well folks, its been a crazy summer here on Something Awful and on the internet in general. We've seen a lot of great memes come and go this year and I figured it was time to publish the latest Meme Grades so that we can all keep track of whats hot and whats not in the world of memes. Pepe: Pepe and so called "Rare Pepes" have continued to decline throughout the month of July. Some positive results have been reported through very original or otherwise creative pepes. Look for pepe to be on the decline throughout summer, bottoming out in the fall and recovering next year as the meme transitions into an ironic-reactionary phase. B- Doge: Doge humor seemed to bottom out early this summer in June with some passable doge jokes being seen towards the end of the month. Doge continued its 6 month downward trend, being picked up by the general population and making the rounds on your mom's facebook page. Expect doge to entirely disappear over the next 6 months after it makes an appearence on a popular boardcast late night show. D+ Bronies and ICP: This is a hot new meme which has a lot of potential. Released July 21st by "Shaggy 2 Dope" this meme may soon be appearing on backpacks and lunchboxes. I predict that we'll see a rapid spread of Brony Clown jokes over the late summer and fall into a sudden death by Christmas. Look towards Halloween as a peak for this meme as College aged meme lovers everywhere dress up as ICP ponies. A I'm Gay: I'm Gay has been experiencing a slow but dignified decline. Unlike the rapid decline of cuck, I'm gay has retained a niche use and is solidy positioned as a "throw-back" type of comedic post. Expect I'm gay to have a small but solid core of followers well into 2016 and beyond as this timeless response matures into a Classic Meme.
