His shtick has been played out, but that is mostly the fault of the army of imitators that followed. nah its cause he wanted to bring his dumb cinematic poo poo into it because he wanted to be a film maker instead of keeping it about the games like he should have. 10 min. extended fight scene with mike takei in a bugs bunny costume. this culminated in the most incredible turd of a movie, which is entertaining bad for about 20 mins then painfully bad for the next 5 and a half hours. nostalgia critic's review of it is p hilarious though, you can see he knew it was a total piece of poo poo with dead eyes and a forced grin, but ironically these cliquey critics can only talk poo poo about successful people in real media and not each other. AAAAAASSSSSSSS

I think he was smart in branching out and doing videos where he's not in character. The videos he has where he just kind of chills in his den and plays games with his friends are pretty fun to watch and a nice break from his usual, aggressive shtick.

I still occasionally get huge nerds spluttering at the fact that I still just keep my consoles from 10 years ago and play whatever I have on those rather than buying pre-orders for the latest AAA games and poo poo. They don't seem to realise it's because I stopped wanting new consoles/games when I became and adult, because they are essentially toys for children. I think giving money to electronics corporations each year is the only thing that gives nerds a sense of purpose in their short worthless lives.
