I live just a couple of blocks from a recycling center so I take my recyclables there to be recycled.

I got a perfectly good 37" Olevia LCD TV that someone had abandoned there.

It's a crappy TV if you're a sperglord nerd but it's great for the fact that it was a goddamned free TV.

this is a lovely fireplace, it doesn't have the charm and character of my 20 year old fireplace but it's still pretty cool

Bedbugs are mostly a coastal thing. that's where most of the immigrants land when they arrive from whatever taco city they live in like London or Paris carrying filth, TB, and bedbugs. Since most of the people in Iowa or whatever are white, God fearing Christians, there's relatively little in the way of disease or parasites.
