David Simon's latest HBO miniseries just aired its first two episodes. A period piece about affordable housing in Yonkers, I found it way more accessible and gripping than The Wire's early hours. What say you?

I'm not ready =(

It's pretty good but it hasn't hooked me like The Wire had with its first scene. I'm not rushing to judgement but none of the characters have really stood out yet. The story is interesting though. I love the NIMBY joke "It's literally in my back yard!"

It took me a while to get into some of the tenants stories but I love how it came together towards the end. The last hour was brilliant.

Would you be my new best friends?

It didn't get much posting, but there was another thread here discussing the show.
