I was a Genesis kid, so I learned to love the clangy and synthy and futuristic sound of the Genesis soundchip as opposed to the SNES, which still sounds to me like it's always playing some warm fart samples. SNES really shone in Nintendo and Square games, but most developers never got the hang of it and it just sounded so... muddy and bleh. SoR 3 crosses the line for me, though, it just goes into this weird glitchy minimalist techno territory that I find impossible to like. Robot farts indeed.

SORR owns. 2 & 3 were both equally good, IMO. Playing 3 without a six button controller was terrible.
