Our official mascot is more of a cartoony running casper the ghost thing, but they used to have someone in a ghost costume deliver the football tot he field at the homecoming game, and for several years it really looked like a clansman. Unfortunately all pictures of the offending statue at our school have disappeared from the internet, but here's an article from back when I was in High School tiptoeing around the pointed head controversy.
