precision posted:i would also say that the first Tarentel album is better post-rock than almost anything GYBE has ever done, and later Tarentel is next level primo grade beef, like We Move Through Weather is basically an ambient industrial album and it's amazing Just letting you know now tha tI'm going to listen to some of this and probably come back in here and call you a real dumb fucker if I don't like it.

I have actually no poo poo been in this situation before.. I took her to see them and when they started she was obviously pissed and I just waited and when the concert was over I was like "did you like the concert" and she was like "no I spent three hours trying to remember the entire plotline to all of the seasons of friends in a desperate attempt at an escape " haha so maybe make her binge watch friends right before hand or ask her to make a timeline of all the idiots that die in game of thrones or something?

think about how relaxing it is not to have to account for yourself to someone else in relation to your shared experience. no answering the question "what did you think?" no screaming to be heard over the music when you just want to say you have to go to the bathroom. no waiting around before or after to go get a drink. you just get to do whatever the hell you want whenever the hell you want and enjoy yourself in whatever way you want without having to bizarrely justify it to another sentience!

godspeed aren't anywhere close to the most "boringest" band to see live, go watch some clips of Low circa the early 2000s and then get back to me about "watching paint dry" they're not even the boringest post-rock band to see live, that honor probably goes to Explosions in the Sky or certain parts of Mono's live sets shaking my drat head over here
