Congrats big boy

Nice.

Didn't pick up a season ticket package this year, but still plan on going to quite a few Stars games. My niece keeps asking when I'm going to take her to another hockey game and new guy at work is a Ducks fan so will definitely have to find a way to one of the Gulls games at the end of the year. Working super early AM shift and only knowing my schedule three weeks out makes it hard to plan a season. I did it for a few games last year and it was brutal, game ending at 9 or 10, getting to sleep an hour later and having to wake up at 3am sucked. Still getting plenty of promotional e-mails though for $20 games though, with one I can actually attend. Super excited to see some games again.

The arena the ECHL Cyclones and AHL Mighty Ducks played at the past few decades closed in Cincinnati a few months back and they are auctioning off basically anything attached to the walls of the place going back the past few decades. Browsing through stuff it looks like they have a bunch of various team banners that they had hanging from the ceilings for various hockey eras, so if you ever wanted to get a 72"x70" Hamilton Bulldogs flag now is your chance

The Gardens was a smelly old pit of an arena and absolutely ruled. I lived like two miles from the place and went to like a dozen Cyclones games a year as a kid. I recognize like 2/3rds of the stuff on that site from various places in the arena and am having quite a nostalgia trip over it.

Not that I don't love all of you, but I like threads to be separate and up to date.

So here is a new thread for 2016-17 -- http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=3794649
