Technically, Australia is sitting on an extension of the Indian plate, so you might say that India is a continent, and Australia is one of its island: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indo-Australian_Plate And of course Europe isn't a continent. From a resources perspective, I've gotta say North America. Loaded with oil and minerals, and if you don't use stupid farming methods or let religious fanatics wander off the middle part is decent too. I demand that the British Empire/Commonwealth get a do-over on colonising it. We hosed up first time (except for Canada), we admit that, and we don't mind Mexico, just wipe the rest of the continent clean, restore it to pre-industrialism levels, and let us have another go of it. C'mon. Do over!
