He puts like five plates on and does squats with so little ROM they looks like calf raises, but who am I to judge? Also the other day I saw a girl use that hip abductor machine but she was like, standing up with each rep? Hard to explain but it made an awkward looking exercise look even weirder.

That elliptical might actually be made for that. There's one at my apartment gym that has side steps for that exact reason. It'll even tell you to do that on a "full body" workout mode where you rotate from normal style, to legs only, to arms only.

Today the kid's school was cancelled due to freezing rain and it screwed up the morning routine and I still could have gone to the gym and left the kid home, but I didn't, and this is the first weekday in like a year that I haven't gone to the gym and now I feel like a bloated piece of poo poo.

Huge, jacked dude in my gym was doing the same but with core and arm stuff and I was like "Well, works for him, I guess." Got chatting for some pointers and pretty much everything he said was followed up with some details about how he severely injured himself doing that workout so I guess I'll just stick to not injuring myself.

One of the employees at my gym drew a bunch of goofy motivational poo poo on the sidewalks outside leading to the front door and it was so childish and patronizing. It felt like I was at a planet fitness
