Phantasm is a good movie. When the director told him he was going to play an alien, he thought it was going to be a drama about him as an immigrant until he read the script.

89 years old and just finished up the fifth (and presumably last) Phantasm film. Just wow. Bummed to hear the news, but he's easily one of the best horror actors ever.
