i think Tito was an alright guy from what i recall although i could be mistaken as is frequently the case with despots.

I feel like Erich Honecker was maybe not such a bad dude, and actually just lost control of his spies to the point they ended up sucking the life out of East Germany. At the end of the day that's happened to a bunch of Western leaders too (see nearly every US president during the Cold War).
