I suppose if you want to make it to Madrid as badly as Sissoko does, then you'll probably get there quicker by signing for Spurs than Everton.

Can't be unhappy with Leicester. Solidified in every area and especially up front, with an actual squad's worth of players now, and only lost one key player in Kante.

E: Breaking our transfer record by ~5m then breaking that one by another 15 was pretty funny too. :retrogames:

I don't know if Boro were ever seriously considering Wilshire but I'm glad we didn't get him. I get the feeling he is going to be a complete bellend at Bournemouth and it will be amazing

A man's ambition must indeed be small
To write his name upon a shithouse wall
I'd have been disappointed signing jack wilshere instead of someone who's going to play and not get beaten up and injured the first time people stop finding his short man syndrome hilarious

his only thing was being an english lad who could run and pass at the same time and now ross barkley does it better, rip a laughable career

Wilshere would be a pivotal player for most teams. He's gonna be great at Bournemouth.

He's going to get hurt within the first two months and miss most of the season.

How it will play out is Wilshere will stay healthy all year and be Bournemouth's best player, he'll be "like a new signing" next summer for Arsene, and then he'll get injured immediately.

Maybe, but it seems really unclear whether he'll ever be the same player he was when he was 19 or w/e if he even does get healthy. I would imagine that's why wengy let him go.

Word was Wilshere/his agents were the one pushing for the move. Hope he does well and if he can stay fit great, otherwise womp womp another English talent down the drain.

yes, his agents sat down with arsenal and pretty much forced a loan. i would have preferred an option to return in January in case of an injury emergency but overall im happy with the move. arsenal cant afford to give him the games it takes to get back to real fitness at the moment.

He was decent against Tottenham really. Against sides we will have all the possession against he won't be that great though as it's pretty predictable he'll cut in every time. He's a better defender than Moreno and is better at keeping the ball.
